Khalif Wyatt was named the Big 5 and the Atlantic Ten men’s basketball player of the week on Monday.

The Temple guard averaged 22.5 points, three assists and two steals as the Owls swept last week’s matchups against Charlotte and Dayton. This is Wyatt’s third conference-player-of-the-week honor of the season. It was also third Big 5 weekly honors.

The 6-foot-4 senior guard's previous Big 5 player-of-the-week awards came on Dec. 3 and Dec. 24.

He shared the conference honor with Virginia Commonwealth’s Juvonte Reddic last week. The Norristown native was also named the  A-10 player of the week on Dec. 24.

Wyatt had 25 points, four assists, two blocks and two steals in Wednesday’s 89-88 victory over the 49ers at the Liacouras Center. He followed that with 20 points, two assists and two steals in Saturday’s 72-71 win against the Flyers in Dayton.
