Temple game delayed more than an hour

The Temple vs. Akron Mid-American Conference opener  was delayed an hour and 19 minutes due to four lightning strikes within six miles of InfoCision Stadium.

By rule, the game must be delayed for 30 minutes after the final lightning strike.  The first strike occured at 6:25 p.m. and the last one came around 7:11 p.m.  As a result, the game will resume around 7:41 p.m.

When it resumed, the Owls began their second offensive possession at their 24-yard line.
