Temple will open its 2014 football schedule one week later than expected, beginning the season on Sept. 6 against Navy at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Owls had been scheduled to begin the 2014 season at Penn State on August. 30. However, on Sunday Penn State announced that it would begin the season in Dublin, Ireland against Central Florida University.

To accommodate the change in schedule, the Penn State game was pushed back to Nov. 15. Both Temple and Penn State previously had open dates for that date.
