Temple athletic director Bill Bradshaw will retire on June 30 to give full attention to personal issues within his family, according to a press release.

Bradshaw, who has led the Owls athletic program for 11 years, will take a personal leave on Friday. Kevin Clark will take over as Temple’s interim athletic director. Clark came to Temple from Indiana with  new Temple president Neil Theobald in January. Clark has served as Theobald’s senior advisor since Nov. 1, 2012.

“My 11 years at Temple University were among the most rewarding of my 36 years as an Athletic Director," said Bradshaw said in the statement. "I will miss working with our exceptional staff and elite coaches, talented student-athletes, the campus community and the many friends of Temple Athletics who supported our vision and helped create a program poised for unprecedented success."
