Temple basketball has a chance to land two of the region's top guards in the Class of 2015.

Haverford School's Levan "Shawn" Alston announced on Wednesday that the Owls are among his final six schools. Ewing, N.J.'s Trey Lowe listed the Owls on Tuesday after narrowing his choices to four. Both play AAU basketball for Philadelphia-based Team Final.

The 6-foot-4 Alston also included Penn, Penn State, Marquette, Notre Dame, and Virginia Commonwealth. Lowe listed Temple, St. Joseph's, Southern Methodist, and Virginia Commonwealth.

More coverage

Alston's father, Levan, played at Temple under John Chaney. Alston is a four-star recruit and is ranked as the state's No. 4 prospect in next season's senior class. The 6-foot-6 Lowe is also a four-star recruit. He averaged 27.8 points per game last season.
