Did anybody envision Khalif Wyatt not becoming the Atlantic Ten player of the year?

The answer is probably no to that question.

So the inevitable happened Tuesday morning when the A-10 named the Temple guard its player of the year.

What Wyatt has done this season has been unbelievable: the conference leading 19.9 points; the five games of 30 or more points; the 616 points in a season; and there were even four A-10 player-of-the-week honors.

All of those accomplishment made the 6-foot-4 senior hard to guard and the first Owls since Pepe Sanchez in 2000 and the 10th overall to win the award.
