INDIANAPOLIS – If there was a Temple positive on Saturday night, it was Scootie Randall’s shooting performance.

The fifth-year senior swingman broke out of his shooting slump by scoring 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting in the Owls’ 83-71 setback to ninth-ranked Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse.  Randall was 3 of 5 on three-pointers.

He had struggled through a combined 35 of 116 (30.1 percent) shooting in the Owls’ previous 12 games.

Temple (13-6) hopes Randall can build off of Saturday night’s performance.
