Rivals.com picks Temple to win MAC

It appears that Rivals.com has joined the Steve Addazio bandwagon.

That’s because, Mike Huguenin, the recruiting website’s college football editor, picked Addazio’s Temple Owls to win the Mid-American Conference title this upcoming season.

The first-year coach inherits a team that returns 13 starters and posted an 8-4 record last season.  Temple is scheduled to open football camp on Aug. 6.

I can't believe the interest in the program that Steve Addazio has generated. He is getting legitimate three star and better recruits and he is tapping into local talent to build the program. Apparently, many of the recruits are talking about playing in Big East. This talk must be coming from somewhere. The day when Villanova is a bug on Temple's football windshield are fast approaching.

Just the equivalent of the SI jinx. Temple Owls, 5th place in the MAC East (in an attempt to nullify any Rivals.com voodoo).

All the haters will try their best to distract or deny where the program is headed. Hey haters, we got room on the bandwagon for you lames. Temple Football will be better than previous two seasons. We will win the MAC East and take care of owning the MAC overall. So keep your hater blockers on because we are shining!!! GO OWLS!!! PS..JoePa will finally retire after the Broad Street bullies deal with the kitty cats down the Linc this year.

My brother is a Temple grad. And again this year I will take his money when my Lions crush the Owls. Easy double digit win for PSU.

Sincere congratulations on your Big Ten team beating a MAC team. Really impressive there, Nitt. Btw, nice job beating us by double digits last year...

Coach Daz has brought a new energy that builds on what AG started. Only the future will tell us if the energy translates into victory but for now it sure does feel GREAT
