OwlScoop.com is reporting per a source that Temple defensive coordinator Chuck Heater will interview Friday for the Owls head-coaching job.

However, there are reports that Heater is expected to follow former Temple coach  Steve Addazio to Boston College. Addazio resigned Tuesday to take the head-coaching position at Boston College.

He turned down the Inquirer's request for an interview on Friday. Temple athletic director Bill Bradshaw didn't immediately return the paper's phone calls.

Heater followed Addazio from Florida back in 2010 when he named the Owls' head coach.  In addition to being Temple's defensive coordinator, Heater was the defensive backs coach.
