Owls to host one of nation's top OL prospects

Temple will host Jones High (Fla.) offensive lineman Duaron Williams on Dec. 9.

The 6-foot-4, 298-pounder is regarded as the nation’s 15th-best guard in the Class of 2012, according to Rivals.com.  Williams, who visited Kansas on Oct. 14, has 23 scholarship offers.

So far, the Owls have received 26 commitments from high school seniors. The latest came from Jarid Brown, an athlete at Archbishop Carroll in Washington D.C. on Oct. 16. His commitment came one day after attending Temple’s 34-0 homecoming victory over Buffalo at Lincoln Financial Field.
