Owls quickly turn attention to Dayton

Bring on Dayton.

At least that’s what Temple coach Fran Dunphy had his team thinking after it upset fifth-ranked Duke, 78-73, Wednesday night at the Well Fargo Center.

“When coach Dunphy walked into the locker room, he said ‘Good win. But I’m worrying about Dayton now,’ ” Owls guard Ramone Moore said. “You don’t have too long to think about the victory.

“We have to hold our own in the [Atlantic Ten Conference] and do a good job there.”

Temple (10-3) opens up conference play on Saturday against Dayton (11-4, 1-0 A-10) at the Liacouras Center. The Flyers defeated St. Louis, 79-72, in overtime Wednesday night.
