Owls paint end zones at the Linc

Let’s just say Temple realizes the magnitude of Saturday’s game.

For the first time, the end zones at Lincoln Financial Field are painted the school’s colors – cherry and white – for the Owls’ much-anticipated matchup against Penn State.

The end zones are cherry with white lettering. One end zone reads T-E-M-P-L-E, while the other reads O-W-L-S.

Temple (2-0) looks to snap a 28-game losing streak to the Nittany Lions (1-1). The 12 p.m. game will be televised on ESPN.
