Vaughn Morgan, a sophomore at Southwestern Christian College (Texas), met with Temple’s coaching staff Wednesday night.  The 6-foot-6 forward was also the Owls’ guest at their 87-85 overtime victory over Buffalo at the Liacouras Center.

The Pittsburgh native is a friend and workout partner of Temple 2012 recruit Devontae Watson, a 6-9 senior center at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School near Pittsburgh.

As of Wednesday, Temple had not offered Morgan a scholarship. Owlscoop.com reports that he plans to visit Rutgers and is also being recruited by Central Michigan and Duquesne.
