Holding opponents to average of 7.75 points per game, Temple has the nation’s top-ranked scoring defense.

The Owls (3-1) held Villanova to seven points in the first game of the season. Then, Temple gave up three points against Akron. Penn State managed 14 points against Temple last week. And Maryland was held to seven points on Saturday.

Temple has only given up four touchdowns, four extra points and a field goal this season.
