Owls, Clemson rematch set

The Temple men’s basketball team found out Wednesday that that it will open against Clemson in the first round of the Charleston Classic on Nov. 21.

The Temple men’s basketball team found out Wednesday that that it will open against Clemson in the first round of the Charleston Classic on Nov. 21.

The game is a rematch of the 2008 Charleston Classic championship game, won by Clemson 76-72.  The game will air on ESPN3 (7:30 pm ET).

The eight-team, three-day tournament will be held at TD Arena in Charleston. The final two rounds will take place 22-24.

The winner of the Temple-Clemson game will take on the Georgia-Davidson winner on Nov. 22 at 9:30 pm (ESPNU) while the losers will play at 7:00 pm (ESPN3) in the consolation bracket.
