Two weeks after accepting Temple's offensive coordinator position, Nick Rolovich has decided Wednesday to remain at Nevada.

A Wolf Pack source said Nevada doubled his salary to around $240,000 to remain offensive coordinator of the Mountain West Conference school. The 33-year-old and his wife are expecting twins. They have two other children. As a result, Rolovich felt like he couldn't turn down the bump in pay, according to another source.

In addition to being the Owls' next offensive coordinator, Rolovich was going to coach the quarterbacks. He spent this past season at Nevada after four years at Hawaii, including two as the Warriors' offensive coordinator.

The Wolf Pack averaged 37.8 points and 514.8 yards of offense last season. Nevada sophomore quarterback Cody Fajardo had a standout season under Rolovich's guidance. Fajardo completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,786 yards and 20 touchdowns with nine interceptions last season in Nevada's trademark "pistol" offense. He was also second on the team with 1,121 rushing yards and 12 TDs.
