Matt Rhule, Temple's new football coach, has hired another assistant coach to his staff.

Central Florida tight ends and special teams coach Allen Mogridge is the latest addition, according to multiple reports. For now, he’s listed as an offensive assistant. OwlScoop.com is reporting that Mogridge could either become the Owls offensive line coach or running backs coach. Temple running backs coach Tyree Foreman is interviewing for that position at Virginia. Justin Frye, the Owls former offensive line coach, followed former head coach Steve Addazio to Boston College. And it appears that Ed Foley, the Owls former director of football operations, will become the tight ends coach.

Prior to heading to UCF in January 2011, Mogridge spent three seasons as the tight ends/special teams coach at North Carolina, his alma mater. He also coached at Buffalo and Western Carolina.

Mogridge played tight end, fullback, offensive tackle and defensive end at UNC.
