Matt Brown signs with CFL team

Former Temple running back Matt Brown signed a two-year contract to play with Saskatchewon Roughriders of the Canadian Football League on Thursday.

Former Temple running back Matt Brown signed a two-year contract to play with Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League on Thursday.

The 5-foot-5, 165-pounder will report to Saskatchewan in two weeks to prepare for the upcoming season. Brown was last season's Big East special teams player of the year.
