Lunardi: Owls move up to No. 5 seed

If the NCAA tournament began today, Temple would be the fifth seed in the Midwest, according to Joe Lunardi.

The college basketball analyst for ESPN known as Joey Brackets had the Owls listed as a six seed last week.

In Monday's updated bracket, Lunardi has the Owls facing the winner of the first-round game between Northwestern vs. Miami. The second-round game will be in Nashville.

The winner will face the winner of the No. 4 Louisville vs. No. 13 Iona game in the next round.

The St. Joseph’s graduate, who does Hawks radio broadcasts, has three Atlantic Ten teams playing in the NCAA tournament. He lists St. Louis as the eighth seed in the South, while Xavier is the 11th seed in the West.
