Anthony Lee has decided to transfer from Temple, according to a source close to the men’s basketball program.

The redshirt junior center informed Owls coach Fran Dunphy of his decision Monday. Dunphy intends to grant the 6-foot-9, 230-pounder his release.

Lee, who is scheduled to graduate in May, has one year of eligibility remaining and will be able to play right away, assuming he enrolls at a university’s graduate program not offered a Temple.

He averaged 13.6 points and 8.6 rebounds this past season for the 9-22 Owls.
