Kingsway's Lawry visits Temple

DAYTON, Ohio – Ray Lawry Jr, a standout tailback at Kingsway High School, is on an unofficial visit to Temple. The 5-foot-10, 188-pounder is among the high school juniors at Temple Saturday for the Owls’ junior day.

DAYTON, Ohio – Ray Lawry Jr, a standout tailback at Kingsway High School, is on an unofficial visit to Temple. The 5-foot-10, 188-pounder is among the high school juniors at Temple Saturday for the Owls’ junior day.

Lawry rushed for 2,225 yards and 32 touchdowns last season in route to being named a first-team all-state selection by the Newark Star-Ledger. He was also named an all-South Jersey selection by The Inquirer.

Lawry has scholarship offer from Temple.Maryland, Rutgers, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan are also expressing interest.
