Keith Pompey's AP Top 25 ballot for Dec. 2

The Top 5 teams remained the same in my AP Top 25 ballot after Alabama defeated Georgia in Saturday's Southeastern Conference championship game. And no, Kansas State’s victory over an overhyped Texas team didn't move it into the Top 10. I did, however, give the No. 25 spot to Penn State instead of Big Ten champion Wisconsin.

Why?

The Nittany Lions defeated the Badgers, 24-21, in overtime on Nov. 24.

And let’s be totally honest. Wisconsin finished third in the Leaders Division behind Ohio State and Penn State. The only reason the Badgers played in the conference championship game was because the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions are ineligible for postseason play.

Here’s the ballot I submitted before the 11 a.m. deadline. Take a good look at it.

Tell me what you think. I want your comments and criticisms.  When you are finished, look at the updated poll.
