Giunta named Temple's senior associate athletic director

Joe Giunta is returning to North Broad Street.

Temple athletic director Bill Bradshaw announced Tuesday that Guinta will be the Owls' senior associate athletic director for sports administration, starting March 8.

He has been Cabrini's athletic director and director of recreation for the past four years. Prior to that, Giunta spent five years as the Owls' associate athletic director for sports administration.

"To say that my family and I are excited to return to North Broad Street and Temple athletics would be a great understatement," Giunta said in a press release. "My first tenure at Temple left a tremendous impact on me both personally and professionally."
