Eric could see more minutes at Charlotte

One can only assume that Temple’s Micheal Eric will get more playing time Wednesday night at Charlotte.

The 6-foot-11 center played seven minutes in Saturday’s 73-60 victory over Maryland, his first game back from a fractured right kneecap.

“Hopefully that seven will turn into 12, which will turn into 20 and hopefully back to 100 percent in another week or so,” Owls coach Fran Dunphy said during Monday’s Atlantic Ten Conference coaches teleconference.

Eric had missed 13 games due to his injury.
