Romond Deloatch, a senior wideout at Phoebus High School in Hampton, Va., gave an oral commitment to play football at Temple  Sunday night.

The 6-foot-4, 213-pounder was on an official visit to the Owls North Broad Street campus this weekend.  He was originally only scheduled to visit Temple on Friday then take an official visit to Virginia Tech on Saturday and Sunday.

However, Deloatch opted to stay at Temple the entire weekend. Virginia Tech did not offer him. He chose the Owls over scholarship offers from Cincinnati,  East Carolina  and Marshall.
