Cardinal O’Hara junior football players Dashawn Darden and Thadd Smith are taking unofficial visits to Temple this weekend.

Smith is a 5-foot-10, 170-pounder wideout/defensive back, while Darden is a 5-9, 175-pound quarterback.

Darden has completed 109 of 192 passes for 1,607 yards and 20 touchdowns. The dual threat also has 277 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 72 carries. He is receiving interest from Temple, Georgia Tech and Syracuse among others.

Smith, who has scholarship offers from Temple and Rutgers, leads the team with 33 receptions for 426 yards and eight scores. He also has 57 carries for 362 yards and four scores.
