Temple running back Matt Brown was one of the 49 players named to the Paul Hornung watch list on Thursday.

The award goes annually to the most versatile player in college football.

The senior had 155 carries for 916 yards and six touchdowns last season. The 5-foot-5, 170-pounder was also a standout special teams’ player.

He returned 28 kicks for 703 yards (25.1 yards-per-return) and a touchdown. The Baltimore native also returned 18 punts for 182 yards (10.1 yards-per return).
