Temple's Lavoy Allen was named the Big 5's Outstanding Player of the Year on Monday.

The 6-foot-9, 225-pound senior power forward averaged 11.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks this season.  He will receive the Robert V. Geasey Trophy, which goes to the outstanding player, at the Big 5 banquet on April 25 in the Fox-Gittis room at the Liacouras Center.

Temple guard Ramone Moore, Penn point guard Zack Rosen and Villanova guards Corey Fisher and Corey Stokes join Allen on the all-Big 5 first team.
