Temple’s chance to receive a Big East invitation is a hot topic.

What are Owls coach Steve Addazio’s thoughts about where his team should go?

“I don’t have any idea,” Addazio said Tuesday during his weekly press conference. “I get so locked-in here. I’m worried about the next week.  And every once in a while, I’m worried about what dinner I’m having here. That’s about where I get.

“I’m really not trying to evade your question. There’s just so much going on. I was mentally and physically exhausted just to get ready for that game [last weekend at Ball State.] It’s the same for this game [Saturday vs. Buffalo]. I really condition myself that I don’t get involved in that stuff. I don’t have any input, right now.

“My job is my team getting ready for the games. So I really don’t even go down those paths. And I’m just not involved in it. I’m really not up to speed to be honest with you.”

Temple is a member of the Mid-American Conference for football and the Atlantic Ten for other sports.
