Jack & Jill of America hosted their "Spring Soiree" at the Stotesbury Mansion on Saturday, April 12, 2014 to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Center of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia honoring Christopher Nunes, who died of cancer at the hospital last October. Christopher attended Germantown Academy, where he won various science awards, and was the VP of the Black Student Alliance. The night consisted of a lively cocktail party, with a silent auction and dancing in the ballroom with DJ Touch Tone spinning, (simply amazing, because he is blind).

The evening was a smashing success, rocking until midnight. Chair for the evening was Marisa Diaz. Jack and Jill of America, Inc., founded in 1938 in Philadelphia, helps African-American children by stimulating their growth and development, allowing for a brighter future.
