The 8th annual Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby (KKSD), was held Saturday at Trenton and Norris Streets in Philadelphia.

The event, which started as an economic development initiative in 2007, attracted dozens of human-powered kinetic sculptures; as well as hundreds of spectators. The KKSD's mission is to "Strengthen the physical, social, and economic fabric of the community by being a catalyst for sustainable development and community building."
