Photos: Colors of Brazil at The International House

International House of Philadelphia held it's 53rd annual Global Gala: Colors of Brazil, on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Nearly 300 guests enjoyed a cocktail party, a silent auction, food, retail and luxury prizes, as well as photos with Brazilian dancers on the red carpet. Dancers and drum corps ushered the guests into the ballroom where they enjoyed an authentic Brazilian feast provided by Modern Palate Catering Company.

Notable faces in the crowd included Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams, Kim Habershak and Eagles player Connor Barwin. After dinner and dessert, the guests enjoyed dancing to the Dendê & Band. The party continued until 2:00 am. Proceeds from the event went to support International House Philadelphia's residential services, arts and humanities programming.
