Photos: Dilworth Park opening day

On Thursday September 4, Dilworth Plaza was re-opened as Dilworth Park after two years of construction. The renovation made the SEPTA Market-Frankford and Broad Street lines accessible by elevator and created a commuter-friendly public space. The park now features a fountain and a cafe on the south side of City Hall. As part of a day-long celebration, different dance and music acts from around the city performed. Visitors frolicked in a fountain which will turn ice skating rink in the winter. The next month is filled with activities in the space including movie nights, happy hours and concerts.
