The AL DÍA News Media: World Cup Party! Brasil 2014 was an afternoon of soccer viewing on Friday, June 13, 2014 at The Hub Commerce Square.

The party kicked off with Netherlands beating Spain 5 - 1 and ended with Chile winning 3 - 1 on the big screens located throughout the new business center and event space. The guests enjoyed a nice food spread from Starr Catering and an open bar featuring Caipirinha's from Leblon Cachaça (a Brazilian favorite), Yards beer, Moletto Prosecco, Dad's Hat Rye, and other spirits to keep the party lively.

All of the proceeds benefited the AL DÍA Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization supporting scholarships for students of journalism and promoting excellence in multimedia and multicultural journalism.
