The 117th annual Devon Horse Show & Country Fair hosted their highly anticipated Ladies Day Tea and Hat Contest yesterday.
Hundreds of fashion forward ladies turned out for the competition. It was judged by Carson Kressley, Bill Henley from NBC10, Alicia Vitarelli from 6ABC, Patrick Champalou from Cartier, Brenda Waites Bolling, Sheila Connelly and Beth Beverly.The winners were:

Chinamoto, an upbeat, moderately priced Asian fusion restaurant, is the first Philly project for Kelvin Lee Sin, best known for Buddha by Kenji Fusion in Kansas City, Mo.

The inaugural Preakness at the Piazza event, benefiting multiple sclerosis, was held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Northern Liberties' popular outdoor space.

The 8th annual Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby (KKSD), was held Saturday at Trenton and Norris Streets in Philadelphia.
The event, which started as an economic development initiative in 2007, attracted dozens of human-powered kinetic sculptures; as well as hundreds of spectators. The KKSD's mission is to "Strengthen the physical, social, and economic fabric of the community by being a catalyst for sustainable development and community building."
Party on Pearl, a V.I.P. preview opening of Philadelphia's newest, hippest luxury apartment building, Goldtex, from Post Brothers Apartments, was full of life last night under the moonlit sky. Goldtex offers a full array of luxury amenities and boasts a LEED silver certification as a green building.
The sexy party, as it was billed, was full of beautiful people who were treated to a delicious spread by Del Frisco's and DiBruno's. Party-goers also enjoyed an open bar that included Veuve Clicquot. Music was provided by DJ Royale. The $38 million project is slated to open in August of 2013.
