Calculating the cost of celebration

In a few short hours, Philadelphia will finally have a parade down Broad Street. Here at "It's Our Money", we've been trying to calculate the economic impact of winning the championship. Is it also a win for taxpayers? Are we getting more revenue from the sales tax because people are buying Phillies gear or losing money because of so much police overtime? We trying to figure out a cost benifit analysis that weighs all of the different factors together.

We want help from you. If you're at the parade today, tell us what you see. How many police officers are there? How many people are buying t-shirts, food, and other items from merchents? Is any public property being destroyed? Who is picking up the tab for all of this partying?
