Interactive Map: A Statewide View of What School Districts Spend Per Pupil

To find different districts, use the layer selector at top to choose elementary, K-12 or regional high school districts, or charter schools and countywide districts. You can also use the search box, but make sure to include NJ after the name to ensure you get to the right district. Hover over a district or click on it to see details. You can move the map around and zoom in to better see district information or click the box under the zoom controls to view the map full screen.

An annual rite of spring, the state yesterday released its so-called Taxpayers Guide to Education Spending in New Jersey, detailing how much each district spends per pupil on everything from classroom supplies to food services.
