There’s no rest for U.S. Rep.-elect John Adler, the Camden County Democrat who won a House seat which had been in Republican hands for decades on Nov. 4.
“I’m not sworn in until Jan. 6 (2009) but I’ve spent much of every day since the election helping address the problems I was elected to address,” he said today.
Adler, a retiring state senator, spent today talking to a pharmacist about health care issues, and then went to Lockheed Martin where he talked about job creation and national security issues.
Today, he plans to meet with car dealers to discuss problems in the sagging auto industry.
He hasn’t found a place to live in Washington D.C. yet, but said he’d probably commute most nights and worry about where he sleeps after a late night on the Hill at some other time.
