A lot of pizza-lovers might argue the crust beneath the gooey blend of cheese and sauce makes for the best part of a slice.

Hopefully Bryn Mawr residents agree.

Tony Alidjani, the chef and owner of the nearby Mediterranean Grill, is opening a 20-person sit-down pizzeria at 872 Lancaster Ave. Gold lettering overtop orange paint spells the name of the upcoming eatery: Crust. Neighbors walked by today and noticed tables ready to be seated and a soda fountain installed.

While we’re not sure another pizza place is what Main Liners’ had in mind when they spoke to Ashley Primis about the lack of food-rich independent restaurants on the Main Line last month, we’ll keep you updated on what Alidjani has in mind for Crust.
