Brother-sister duo document Narberth's Dickens Festival

POSTED: Friday, December 16, 2011, 12:27 PM

Avi Loren Fox, 25, and her brother Nikolai Fox, 35, grew up in Narberth, and even in adulthood, it’s still where their hearts belong.

The siblings operate their business Avi Loren Fox Photography out of the homey borough, and for the first time this year, they were the official documenters of the Narberth Dickens Festival held Dec. 10.

The duo split up to capture the present-day liveliness of Narbs dressed in 1840s garb throughout the town, with Nikolai Fox weaving through the crowd and Avi Loren Fox manning the photobooth, where she snapped close-up shots of festival-goers posing for the camera.

Check out the rest of the photos, which are also available for purchase. (If you're prompted to enter a password, it's, "Marley".) In March for First Friday, the pair will show some of their work at Sweet Mabel in Narberth.

“Basically the criteria for the show is anything that took place in the borough,” Avi Loren Fox said. “We’re always wandering around taking photos of the events, so when we were trying to think of a theme, we thought, ‘Narberth.’”
