Stuffed peppers, coleslaw both ideal projects for these 'chopaholics'

Jamir Elliot, Elisha Fox, Shayla Terry, and Rumaysa Gharbi prep ingredients for stuffed peppers and coleslaw during week 4 of the fall 2016 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program at Wissahickon Charter School, Fernhill.

Our chefs have become "Chopalcoholics". Chopping has definitely become one of their favor things, they all want to do it! We are thrilled with how their knife skills have improved. Tackling the tough layers of the cabbage was met with a desire to perfect perfectly thin purple strips. Coring the green peppers, our class created cups of delicious ground beef baked with a crust of melted cheese.
