Completely customizable stuffed peppers

Daria Williams, Crystal Dove, Nadya Davis, and Ijanay Baker prepare stuffed peppers during week 4 of the fall 2016 My Daughter's Kitchen program at Community Partnership School.

We talked about how stuffed peppers are a complete, affordable, easy meal and all the different things you could stuff them with. Suggestions were cheese, various meats, rice, spinach, or a combination. All great ideas. Upon sitting down to eat our meal, Ijanay Baker glowed after one bite and exclaimed,  “This is just delicious and the slaw is fantastic!” Daria Williams loved eating the pepper itself! Nadya Davis was not happy with the beans mixed in, but she tried the mixture anyhow. She would leave them out, if she were making them at home….Experimenting with recipes can make cooking extra fun!
