Working together to get the chicken and cauliflower done on time

Jalea Causey and Mariyah Murphy season the chicken during week 2 of the fall 2016 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program at Wilson Elementary.

Our excitement was at an all time high after our first cooking session last week.  We could not wait to make our Rosemary Chicken Drumsticks! This week we knew that we would really have to work together in order for our meal to be done on time.  This was our first time making chicken that was seasoned with rosemary and garlic together.  We carefully took our time chopping up the cauliflower and pecans making sure to keep our fingers out of the way so we didn't have any mishaps. As Mariyah put it " the chicken tasted tender and juicy and it was very hot.  The cauliflower was warm and toasty along with the yummy pecans." "It was a very balanced meal that was​​ scrumptious too!
