The kids were so curious about the rhubarb in our dessert for our final class. They thought it looked like reddish celery. None had ever tried it and all wanted to taste it raw. As you can see by the photo, it was not what they expected. So tart! Once cooked though, they loved the flavor, balanced by the strawberries, applesauce and sugar. It was a hit!
