Week 5: Additions and Subtractions

Allen Shears IV, Amaana Lawrence, Evelyn Feldman, and Kayla Campbell get ingredients ready for the vegetarian chili and guacamole that they prepared during week 5 of My Daughter’s Kitchen at Wissahickon Fernhill.

Although the recipe of the week was all about the vegetarian lifestyle, our students embraced their inner carnivore.  As we discussed the recipe Allen Shears IV, suggested we "add steak and potatoes".  Other suggestions included adding rice, omitting the cilantro and skipping the guacamole altogether!
