Using recipes like a road map

Carleigh Marsilio, Tamthi Nguyen, Lilly Billarrial, Keylin Perez and Rachel Nguyen enjoy the week 3 recipes that they prepared during the Fall 2016 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program at Visitation BVM.

Quan and Rachel especially savored the mix of fresh, herb slaw and luscious cod in a wrap.  Everyone loved the sweet potato fries!  The menu included three recipes and lots of steps and students used the recipes like a road map.  Chopping, marinating, spicing and preparing the baking trays for the oven, Visitation students met the challenge once again and cooked a delicious meal.  As one student declared:  "Not just delicious but awesome!"
