Tortilla chips the topic of conversation

"Chicken Tortilla Soup is a perfect ending to my day," noted Najiana Land, who had performed in our school's Hispanic Heritage show earlier in the day.  And while the soup earned high praise, the tortilla chips were the topic of conversation.  Ms. Lore explained that we were able to make two trays of chips from a $1.39 bag of tortillas.  For an impromptu experiment, we purchased a $1.20 bag of chips from our school vending machine and counted only 12 full chips in it!   Our tortilla chips were easy to make, less money, and better for us.... a valuable lesson learned.
