Tortellini salad a team effort

Samyelix Amaro and Alondra Lopez mix the tortellini salad that they learned to prepare during week 2 of the Spring 2017 session of My Daughter's Kitchen at Boys' and Girls' Club of Camden County.

Most of the students like to cook and help at home. After reviewing the recipe together, they were all eager to start their prep jobs. Each student mastered their part of the recipe- washing and chopping/grating/shaving their ingredient. They took turns at the stove cooking the tortellini and the veggies. The students worked as a team with some washing dishes while others managed the cooking.
