Tender carrot cake a treat for students and their families

The students really enjoyed the chicken and broccoli stir-fry. It was the first time trying quinoa for many of them, and almost all of the kids cleaned their plates. By far the favorite recipe this week was the carrot cake, however. "I love it!" said Solé Muhammad. "It's so tender!" The students were thrilled to bring extra slices home to their parents and show off their baking skills.
