Soup and science in the same lesson

"I like to chop garlic" announced Ziayna Shippen when we reviewed today's recipe. We are so impressed with the progress all the girls have made with their knife skills which they used today to make the soup. We did not have chili powder so substituted paprika which gave us an opportunity to talk about different spices and how they change the taste. Everyone loved the chicken in the soup!

We  put toothpicks in the avocado pit, put it in water and we will see if it grows!
